Edelman Digital is My New Home

Joining Edelman Digital

It’s official: I’ll be starting at Edelman Digital on March 15. And I couldn’t be more excited.

I’m about to start working with some of the smartest people in the industry, at the agency recently named “PR Agency of the Year”. Edelman is constantly striving to be on the cutting edge of the digital world, and I’m thrilled that I’m going to get to be a part of what they’re building.

I’ll also be working in close proximity with some personal friends of mine, including Blagica Bottigliero, for whom I have the utmost respect and admiration.

But with this new opportunity comes some changes:

  • I’m putting consulting on hiatus. While I could continue to freelance part-time, I’d rather focus on the new responsibilities that will come with being at Edelman, at least for the time being.
  • Along with that, I’ve decided to put this blog on hiatus. I’ve had a good time in this space over the last few months trying to point to some practical advice on communications for small businesses and nonprofits, but I don’t feel like I’ll have the time do so going forward. I will however still continue my Posterous blog as well as The Exceptional Man, if you’d like to connect with me in those spaces.

I’ll also still continue to work with Save the Cups. It’s a cause that I believe in, and I think it’s gaining momentum. I’m excited to see where it goes.

Thanks to everyone for your support. And to those of you at Edelman: I look forward to joining your ranks in a few short days.

Congratulations on the move! I had the chance to meet Blagica when I catered an Edelman bloggers’ breakfast last year and really enjoyed my time with her and several other members of her team, including Danielle, Jessica and Ashley. We’ll miss you at NP!
